Pretty solid Whole Foods, and for nostalgia reasons I love it, just cozy… but 4/5 seems right. It’s a smaller Whole Foods and a large part of it is in a basement. It’s always pretty clean, and easy to maneuver… people that rate it very low, it is a city Whole Foods and they have alot of people coming in and out, sometimes homeless so set your expectations appropriately.

I don’t visit this Whole Foods Market often, but it’s always an interesting experience when I do. Located in the unique Foggy Bottom neighborhood, this two-level store offers a variety of items you may not find on previous trips. It’s an interesting layout that takes a little time to get used to. The staff here is friendly and always willing to help, making the shopping experience more enjoyable. As with most Whole Foods, the prices are comparable to any other store in the chain, but it’s worth it for the quality. The store seems to be popular with local college students and nearby office workers. They have a great selection of fresh produce, meat and fish, bakery items, and prepackaged foods. The Foggy Bottom Metro is a short block away. Definitely a solid spot to check out if you're in the area!

I have been shopping at this location for about two months and have been using the self checkout. Ringing up my produce is always a nightmare so I figured it would be much quicker using a cashier. The cashier that’s rung me up several times now is very efficient. She doesn’t miss a beat and is able to talk and be friendly without slowing down as to inconvenience other customers. Now when I shop, I take a peek to see if she’s available and I go to her line. If she’s not there I go to self checkout. I’ve found my new favorite cashier! She genuinely seems to care about all of her customers and I appreciate that. Great hire Whole Foods. Oh, I almost forgot to tell you her name.. Leah!

I shop here often like Trader Joe's. My neighborhood stores. Besides I could get on the bus D80 Friendship Heights and go to Safeway but sometimes that's to much.. The instant gratification in me sometimes is the reason what makes me go to WHOLE FOODS & TRADER JOE'S but then I can't say that because I like some of their food. NAW HONESTLY I FAVOR A LOT OF ITEMS IN THE 2 STORES!!!💯

A smaller Whole Foods compared to other cities. The rude, aggressive staff in the self-checkout area are really unpleasant. They literally blame customers for checkout problems instead of apologizing for the store’s issues and helping out. They don’t realize that our shopping dollars make their jobs possible. The management here must be out to lunch for hiring — instead of firing — the nasty checkout staff here. It’s only getting worse. Save yourself! Find another Whole Foods if you need one
