I was greeted as soon 🔜 as I walked in. I was curious about this market the last time I visited this street. I observed window seating and thought about getting a drink and warming up inside. I was impressed 👍 when I walked inside. Fresh fruits🍓 and vegetables, meals to go, healthy food, 🧀 cheeses, basic groceries and a deli that serves hot and cold subs and sandwiches 🥪. The dining area was busy! I am not a Bostonian but this is a great place for a movie 🎥 company to come to if they wanted a good representation of a neighborhood store or market.

A beautiful historic spot in the heart of the city. I didn’t go inside, but I just couldn’t walk by without taking a photo. The classic storefront and fresh produce outside give it so much charm. Feels like stepping back in time.

Is this place expensive? Yes. You are in Beacon Hill! It is to be expected. But, they have a great wine selection. Great location as well. If you’re out dining in Beacon Hill at one of the many restaurants and then realize you need a good bottle of wine or a little bit of produce or that last minute element for your meal at home the next day, this is a great quick stop. When we lived in the Back Bay, we did not do all of our regular “grocery” shopping here, as it is too expensive to buy the staples here, so we would drive to some of the bigger grocers. But it is a wonderful stop for items you forgot or don’t happen to have in the pantry. Also, great stop for some of the things you can’t find in the larger stores. At one point no one had lingonberry jam, and Delucas did. Again, great wine selection as well! And good deli.

Had a wonderful speedy gluten free lunch at DeLuca’s. When I mentioned a gluten allergy the cook went into emergency mode. New gloves, fresh preparing board, clean knife, GF bread, and brand new unopened sandwich fillings. I’m beyond impressed and can’t wait to visit again.

Came for the Tuna Salad sandwich, keep coming back for the Tuna Salad 🥪! Oh, and the pickle! 🥒 So joyous am I about the divine pickle that the chef knows me as “pickle girl!” Just everything about this place is awesome! Love their selection of every item, including the Iggys bread. Forget Whole Foods, this is my main grocery squeeze! Did I mention the pickle?
