Smaller than a standard Cub, like the one three miles north on Lake Street, I call this one "Mini-Cub". The ground floor of an apartment complex, I'm sure the original intention was to feature 'grab and go' foods more for the apartment dwellers to run downstairs and grab something for dinner. Some of that has faded away over time, like the burrito station, but this store serves me well. It's got good prices on milk, which is the reason I'll stop here the most. I also rely on it for the times I want to pick up some affordable flowers for Valentine's Day/Mother's Day/birthdays. The bakery section usually has something worth bringing home, the pistachio muffins in particular seem unique to Cub and are a favorite. I've always found the deli counter to have something good and the service has been fine. Overall, I've found the store to be generally well stocked and the employees helpful. Yes, there's homeless people in the area, but I find they're usually over at the Burger King and have not affected my visits to Cub at all. I certainly prefer this nearby, compact location to the full size Cub on Lake Street and would certainly miss it if it ever went away since I find it has more favorites of mine than the Target grocery in Richfield despite the compact size. I'd give this store a 4.5. It's not a 5, but since the overall store rating is a 4.1, I don't want to give it a 4 and lower the average either.

I've always appreciated their floral department throughout the year. This Valentine's Day was no exception. The lady who created the arrangement was excellent. A week later, the roses still look amazing, and my wife is very happy. Thank you!

Great location, not your typical huge Cub that you would expect in the suburbs, however they have everything you want, just not all the selections the bigger ones would have. Great hot food options and you can get a scoop of ice cream in the treat area. Great addition to the area!

I just moved to the area and have tried to do order pick up four different times and three out of the four times. They are unable to find my order. Do not do pick up here at this location because you will spend more time waiting for them to try to find groceries, they can’t find and you can’t easily cancel the order or get a refund on the app and you will spend more time trying to call to try to get a refund from a weird number as they don’t make it easy to try and get a refund because when you do, Pickup on from online ordering they already charge your card prior to pick up
