Heinen's Grocery Store

I have lived in this general location for over 30 years. While the store soles are a bit crowded, where the store shines is in customer service. Everyone I’ve asked was happy to stop and answer my questions. The store has an amazing array of produce which every item looking fresh. The bakery always has something delightful. There is always an assortment of can goods and staple to choose from, and even things I can’t get from other local groceries. The check out experience is quite pleasant and personal.

On what could only be described as an epic snow day, April and her fellow associates showed up with warmth to serve the community. You could feel it the moment you walked into the store. What made the day unforgettable for our family happened after we left. When our car battery died in the parking lot, April didn’t hesitate. She raised her hand, grabbed her charging tool, and stayed with us until we felt calm, safe, and confident we’d make it home. In a stressful moment, her kindness and steady presence changed everything. This is what world-class service really looks like human, generous, and rooted in care. April is the reason Heinen’s feels different. She clearly takes pride in what she does, looks out for others, and makes her community better simply by how she shows up. We won’t forget her, and we’re so grateful.

Great friendly place. Professional service. They could make the salad bar more accessible for people who have a hard time reaching under the permanent glass covering. Get there early before the excellent four choices soup are gone though.

I no longer live in the area but every now and then if I'm over that way I will stop and pick up a few items at Heinen's. They have a garlic shrimp that they will usually serve from the deli on Thursdays they are huge shrimp and I usually will have a side of some type of vegetable to go along with it it is delicious.
