Cashier here crashes out on customers for “making a face.” Dude can’t even look straight with his crooked eyes in the first place but swore I ‘made a face and kicked me out. He asked me for my birth date while checking my ID just to buy two BuzzBalls. I looked confused for a sec. ( 1, because the dude has crooked eyes and I didn’t even know if he was talking to me or his buddies… 2, because I’ve never got asked for my birthday while buying alcohol so that was odd) Within the second he snatched the drinks, threw my ID on the counter, Complaining about me “looking at him crazy” and told me to go somewhere else. Cussing and all that. Imagine being a grown man getting emotional and losing business over a “look” only he took personal.. completely threw me off but Glad I didn’t spend my money here .. just grabbed my ID and left.

While the footprint is small, the shelves are well-stocked with a tight but thoughtful mix: chips, drinks, candy, and a few core groceries if you’re in a pinch. The real standout here, though, is the people. Every visit includes a warm, friendly chat with whoever’s behind the counter, which gives the space a comforting, familiar vibe. This is especially welcome during late-night hours when most other stores have long since closed. It feels best in a low-key, reliable way, and run by folks who seem to genuinely care. It’s not flashy, but it doesn’t need to be. Third World Market knows precisely what it is, and serves its purpose with quiet excellence.

I don’t usually leave reviews but, this place as soon as I walk in, hits you with a bad cigarette smell and extreme body odor it smells like sunshine and cigarettes in there. The customer service was horrible not only was Frank extremely rude, but he cursed a lot I’m not sure how this place is still open with the treatment their customers receive. I know it’s a mom-and-pop shop but, there needs to be better attitudes and a really good scrub. Not to mention the bathroom it feels like I looked around and bumped into the toilet, there was urine all over the floor and on the toilet. The toilet paper looked almost yellow. I do not recommend this store at all

Best liquor store in the Fillmore District and I just put a deli in too and it's phenomenal make sure you get the godfather absolutely out of this world
