This Safeway has been the best neighborhood grocery store experience I’ve had, and that really comes down to the people. The customer service here is consistently outstanding.The staff is friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful in a way that you just don’t see very often anymore. Whether it’s at checkout or on the floor, there’s a level of professionalism and care that stands out. The store itself is always clean, well-stocked, and easy to navigate, but what really sets it apart is how well it’s run and how the team treats customers. It feels like a true neighborhood store, not just another chain location. We shop here regularly, and it’s one of the few places where the experience is reliably positive every time. Highly recommend.

I shop here for years, but lately the customer service is not good, the cashier are grumpy or talking on their phones via Bluetooth in between them also about customers. I don’t feel free to ask questions if I have any because they don’t pay attention to me. I been at the store tonight had to wait for a while at the deli department cause they were pretending they didn’t see me, after they came they were clearly upset cause I was there and they served me a carcass of a chicken breast when I asked for a chicken breast. someone else was there to help me but it wasn’t happy to do it either. With my cart filled until the top I had to do the self checkout because it was the only one available, it was the only time I saw them smiling when they informed me that no one is available only the self checkout. While I understand is not the best job, and is frustrating and not paid well it is not my fault and I don’t feel comfortable to do my shopping here anymore.

I don’t normally do this, but I gotta throw out a poor review today. I have been to the Safeway many times before and bought roughly 15 to 25 pounds worth of snow crab a time. Each of those times I went back to the meat section and had the gentleman load the bags right in front of me and I always received a good product. This time I ordered online which I never do but for convenience purposes, I thought it would be nice just to stop in and pick it up and leave. What I found when I went to unload the crab is that they had loaded every little bit and piece into the Baggs to make up the poundage. Instead of giving A. a nice crab cluster they made it a hodgepodge of crab, which is not great to serve large groups of people. So I gotta say that I feel a little taken by receiving a sub par product for the price that was paid. Do better next time guys.

Started shopping here for my chicken. Would grab deli meat as well. This week alone both have been terrible. The precut ham I got said it was cut 12/24. I picked it up 12/26 and went to use it and it was brown. The chicken I got, just went to cook dinner 12/30 and there’s hard parts all over the chicken. Black specks that come off as well. I’ll never go back. Only good thing I see now about this store is it’s never crowded when I went. But food quality is more important to me.

I was at Safeway this afternoon (Tuesday) around 4:30, and it was not very crowded at all, which I like very much. The store is always kept clean and the aisles are wide open, so it is a easy store shop in!
