We are the new owners and are sorry for how the old owner treated everyone, she has retired and we bought the store from her. Anyone is welcome to come and shop from us. we have changed to Chi-Nax afro food mart, so none gets confused. I had a wonderful experience shopping here! Kiki was very kind and showed me around and made awesome recommendations. I got some Jamaican Yellow Yam, Prekese, Jerk Marinade and other treats. 10/10 5 Stars will recommend to my friends!

Sometimes humans do not clearly see a Child of God when they are in their presence. Instead they choose to belittle them or talk down on them. As an intercessor and Child of God I saw what the owner tried to do to me but I remained in my presence. Will I go back? Only when God gives me permission.

The seller/owner needs to be nicer to people. She is actually better now. She used to be very rude until she had competition. Her competitors are the opposite of her and their business is booming. She acts like she is mad when u ask her a question or ask to buy something she doesn’t sell. A few years ago, she yelled at my friend’s kids cuz they were playing in the store and actually asked why she couldn’t keep them in the car, smh. But like I said she hardly smiles. Even though we don’t go there to make friends or be chatty, a smile still goes a long way. Overall, great selection of assorted African food items. She is also getting better about taking customers’ complaints into advisement. This feels warmer than angrily telling a customer that “that’s what the supplier brought this time “
