As a business owner this is the only place in the Metroplex I can find raw turkey legs. My establishment doesn't sell pre smoked Turkey Legs. So I'm periodically here to pick them up. Everyone here has amazing energy and great customer service. With the exception of one of the younger women that wrk at the checkout counter. I don't know her name but she's always really rude to my wife and I. I dread seeing her anytime we come because of her rudeness. Other than that I love this place.

I was a little disappointed because I brought guests from out of town to visit based on the positive reviews I had read. Unfortunately, when we arrived, it was nothing like what was described. I expected the food section to be the main attraction and thought it would be more of a complete wholesale meat market. Instead, it looked more like a regular grocery store with only one meat counter. The food also did not look very fresh or appetizing. Overall, it was a disappointing experience.

I’ve lived in Dallas all my life but i’ve only been here a few times. I so enjoyed this visit today. I was able to bless a lil lady standing outside waiting at the DART Bustop next to The Packing House. She said she didn’t want any money. She said “I want some bread, cheddar cheese and bologna”. She said “they won’t let me come in the store without any money”. I was following the Leading of the Lord. This is something I’ve never done before. I’ve never purchased food for a complete stranger, someone I did not know. 💐💃🏽❤️🙏🏾 I got what she said she wanted and for myself and my mom I got Hog Head Cheese, Summer Sausage and Premium Unsalted Crackers. I paid for the orders separately, kept the receipts. She was standing patiently waiting outside the store. I gave her her sack. I kept my sack. I pray it would last her a few days. It felt good to bless someone I didn’t know personally. Matthew 25:34-35. This blessed me to bless someone else.

I was publicly humiliated by a butcher wearing a cowboy hat. He screamed at customers telling them not to approach the meat counter. Owners of the store should be held responsible for bad workers that without a doubt should be Terminated!
