Davetta is really kind at the DIY checkouts. She's very kind to people and helpful. I like Smith's, and I know that they are doing their best to try to keep prices down. I have learned though that some of the stuff they have a killer price on is either outdated or real soon to be. Not everything but lots of things. And when you get home and discover that you bought something that's expired, and you bring it back to return at customer service, the lady that's usually in charge plus the "manager" overseeing the customer service aren't the friendliest and they make you feel like you're stupid for returning outdated food. At least they definitely did that to me. I'm low income and you had better believe that when I buy expired food, I'll be returning it! So this is why 3 stars.

It's a nice, clean store with pretty much whatever you need in groceries. I'm not a big fan of their pharmacy section - it is hard to find some things there. The most off-putting thing about shopping here is not the store; it's fine. But the parking lot has to be the worst-designed parking lot in history. Unbelievable with all the blind spots, turns, unanticipated traffic from other stores. Proceed with caution!

Smith's is a very nice, clean grocery store. The produce was very nicely displayed and shopping there was a pleasure. By joining their shopping 'club', clipping virtual coupons, and paying attention to the sales requirements, I was able to save about $50. The regular prices were pretty good too, at least if you join the 'club'.

Excellent neighborhood grocery store. Very rarely any long lines. only issue I’ve ever had is occasionally a product with an expired date gets through their checks and makes it onto the shelves.

For those coming from Florida, Smith's is something in between Publix and Winn Dixie. I always found Winn Dixie to be slightly on the lower end of what a Publix is like. A Publix is kept very clean and just very pleasurable to shop in (not considering the prices here). I almost feel the same way with Smith's where it seems like I'd be walking into something like a Winn Dixie, but the quality is kept up and it's almost towards the qualyof Publix. Probably a strange comparison but that's what I know to compare to. The prices don't seem as bad as Publix. Got a decent sized sub for $5.99 and it was pretty hefty. Although the discount on my drink didn't apply at the self checkout. I'm wondering if it was a membership discount that I missed.
