I used to love going here with my husband to get local healthy treats and sandwiches. Until recently that is, an employee harassed me while waiting for a couple of sandwiches. I was followed to the other side of the store where the ice cream was and he kept offering to "buy me some icecream" and when I said no he offered "to just give it to me". He made sure to let me know the freezer went "tits up" the other day and that all the ice cream in there was bad and unsellable. Which doesn't make sense, why would Dia's be selling products that could get people sick or went bad? After repeatedly declining him and eventually just walking away it felt like I was running away from him while waiting for my sandwichs to be finished. It didn't help that I was one of three customers in the store at the time. When I finally went to the register to pay the employee showed up again and acted completely different than when it was just him and I in front of the ice-cream. Never thought I'd feel unsafe or creeped out in a spot like Dia's, we are severely disappointed. My husband and I have decided to not come back even though there was multiple products we were interested in trying. I can't help but wonder if this interaction would have gone differently if my husband was with me at the time. The employees name was Bennet.

Delicious sandwiches and friendly owner. Great selection of items. Fair prices for Austin that is. But the place needs a good cleaning everything was very dusty looking. Also more seating outdoors would be nice.

The Barbarino on gluten free bread slaps! I was craving an Italian sandwich, and they did not disappoint. Best gluten free sandwich I've had in ages. The bread was grilled, which I think is a requirement for gluten free bread. It held up perfectly to lettuce and red wine vinegar, where lots of other breads will fall apart. Great selection of cold drinks and side snacks. I was there on a mild day and got to enjoy their quiet patio. I'll be back for another one soon!

What an amazing local market. Filled with unique food items from organic soups to a variety of THC drinks. They even have a little deli with phenomenally delicious food. My partner and I split the turkey, brie, fig jam sandwich. Omg

The sandwich was delicious. The store is such a hidden gem, I wouldn’t have found it if I wasn’t waking around aimlessly looking for food waiting while my car was getting new tires. It’s a family-owned grocery store, everyone working there is super nice and they have a range of unique products. Definitely a good time to start supporting smaller business over the superstores. There’s also a little outside area in the shade with music, perfect to eat your sandwich!
