Maria L 8 months agoI usually have a great experience at Publix — the store is clean, well-stocked, and the staff is always friendly and welcoming. However, during my last visit, I was disappointed by what happened at checkout. I had both a cashier and another employee bagging my groceries, so I assumed everything was placed in my cart. When I got home, I realized the meat I had purchased was missing. I called the store right away, and Naiomie was the one who answered. She was extremely polite, professional, and understanding. She quickly looked into the issue and let me know that the cashier had turned in my meat. I really appreciated how calm and helpful she was on the phone — she handled the situation with genuine care and respect. Two days later, I stopped by the customer service counter, and Naiomie personally assisted me again. She immediately recognized me and processed my refund without any hassle. Her excellent customer service made a frustrating situation much easier to deal with. Even though I was disappointed about the missing item, Naiomie’s kindness and professionalism truly stood out. She’s a great example of what good customer service should look like. I hope Publix ensures better attention at the registers in the future, but I’m thankful for employees like Naiomie who go above and beyond for their customers.
Janet Reeves 3 months agoThis store is going down hill! I have never had a problem with getting the stuff I need until recently. Can’t ever get distilled water. Aisles are empty way more than they ever were! Employees don’t want to talk to me and I can’t hardly ever find anyone! I used to be able to come in and buy everything I needed without any issue or having to find someone to fill it up. Now it’s starting to look like COVID in here. Whatever is different I hope they fix it before they lose more customers.
Debra 2 months agoThis was a different experience for us. We have never went to a grocery store in the city with parking in a parking deck below the store. Fun trip will go back. The elevators were very spacious and could hold several people with their carts at a time. Easy parking. Store had everything we needed.
Tiff Love 5 months agoDuring my visit, my family and I were followed throughout the store by security, which made us feel targeted, uncomfortable, and humiliated. Employees in the grocery area refused to assist us, despite the fact that I was shopping just like any other paying customer. I was accompanied by my disabled daughter, who was using a store scooter, and my niece, who may appear older than her age. Based on my daughter’s disability and our appearance, we were treated differently and unfairly. This is discrimination, plain and simple, and it should never happen—especially to families with special needs. What made this experience even more upsetting is that I personally witnessed an employee who was supposed to assist with groceries walk another customer outside to help them, while completely ignoring us. I have both pictures and video of this employee. My daughter genuinely needed assistance, yet no one offered help. Instead, we were judged and followed by security. This experience was degrading and unacceptable. People with disabilities deserve the same respect, dignity, and customer service as everyone else. No family should feel shamed or unwelcome while shopping. I truly hope the store manager reviews this complaint carefully. I will also be reaching out to corporate to report this incident, as it was unfair, discriminatory, and deeply disappointing. Based on my experience, this is not a store I would recommend to families with individuals who have disabilities. Something needs to change.
Me Udontno 8 months agoGreat selection for Gluten Free Noodles and Dairy products. Prices were not too horrible either. And, an insider told me that if children go to the bakery and ask nicely, they get a FREE cookie!
