Service in the deli was slow today. I complained to the manager and she comped my sandwich, and I sincerely appreciate her customer service recovery. Thank you to that manager and thank you Publix on Cascade Road in South Fulton.

I’ve had a disappointing experience at this Publix deli over the past three days. Each visit has involved long wait times, limited acknowledgment from staff, and a clear imbalance in service priorities. While multiple employees focus on fulfilling online orders, in-store customers are often left waiting without communication or consideration for their time. Additionally, there seems to be a lack of coordination at the management level. During my visits, the manager did not appear to have a clear handle on the situation, which contributed to the overall inefficiency and frustration. As someone with a professional background and passion in the culinary field, I believe the deli would greatly benefit from stronger leadership and a team that takes pride in both food quality and customer service. Hiring individuals who are genuinely committed to the craft and to the customer experience could make a significant difference. I also want to emphasize that every customer deserves the same level of respect and service, regardless of the store’s location. We all choose to spend our money here, and that should be valued equally. I’ve always appreciated Publix as a company, which is why this experience has been especially disappointing. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and works to improve the deli department moving forward.

I just left the Publix bakery and deli, and the team there was fantastic. Even with a long line, the staff worked efficiently and handled each order with accuracy and care. I ordered a plant-based sub, and although it took a little extra time, it was clearly made with attention, patience, and pride. Great experience overall!

I searched high and low for an item, even had another associate help with no luck. I went to Customer Service to ask when it would be available and she called got an associate. I explained I had taken that route already but she insisted it was there. Damanie was patient with me and saved the day by finding my item! Great customer service young man! The manager John was nice as well. I can tell he’s a team player, he was bagging groceries!

Adam in the deli department at Publix on Cascade Road provided outstanding customer service today. He greeted us warmly, was extremely kind and professional, and made our salads exactly how we asked — everything looked fresh, clean, and carefully prepared. We truly appreciated the quality of the produce, toppings, and chicken, and the overall experience was excellent and reasonably priced. My mom and I come here often, and Adam is always a breath of fresh air who makes each visit pleasant. Thank you for consistently great service — we will definitely be back!
