The D-sons 4 months agoI really really want to love this Publix, specially because I live next-door to it and it’s convenient. That being said, when you go and get stuff at the deli… Particularly the fried chicken I know that they must change out the boxes or the dates. It’s happened so many times that I’ve had to take the chicken back that was literally cold, soggy, or literally a pool of grease in the bottom of the box… I did point it out to the manager and they agreed with me and got me some fresh chicken and said that they were going to work on it. It’s such a shame because they do have some of the best chicken, but maybe I should go to Toco Hill or a different Publix. Somebody is pulling one over on a management to save some money… Also, the managers have always been very nice anytime I have called back to have a concern that they should know about. There are a couple cashiers, however who are particularly rude, one time when I pointed out how rude the cashier was and the bad boy said that he is sorry for him that he is “slow”… it made me feel bad so as I left, I talked to the manager and said I feel bad saying this, but he was not very nice, but I know that he has a problem… When she said what kind of problem I told him what the bag boy told me and she said”” “ why would he say that? He doesn’t have anything wrong with him.”…. I purposely avoid his line, or if he’s the only one working I just check out at the helpdesk… I know they’re standards are higher than this, but maybe they’re letting the employees run the place instead of managing them
NIA WHITE 4 months agoThe deli customer service here really needs improvement. You often have to wait while staff finish conversations or cleaning before anyone helps you, and it almost feels like you have to call out just to get served. The rest of the store is fine, but the deli department really brings the experience down. Portion requests also aren’t followed well. For example, if you ask for about $2 worth of cheese, you might only get two slices. If you request something specific like six thin slices of Gruyère, they just cut it however they want and hand it over. And every time there’s an issue, all you hear is “sorry.” At some point, “sorry” stops meaning much when it keeps happening. Too many people saying sorry but nothing actually changes. The deli just doesn’t feel attentive or customer-focused.
Max Erin James 2 years agoSeldom do I get such great service and meet someone as kind, patient and considerate as Sam. She was very welcoming and gave us time to make our choice. She went out of her way to get us the (fake) meat we wanted, and was very nice. The store is in a crowded part of the city, but itself is not to crowded, although it can get busy. The employees are always kind and don't feel like they're all on you, but are all willing to help. It looks pretty clean, and I can get everything I need. It can be difficult getting into the parking lot because of the traffic, and it's off a busy intersection. However, parking is easy to find, and it's easy to actually locate. Subs are delicious of course, and the prices can be questionable, but it is such a convenient store.
Laura Stephens 5 months agoI want to love this place so much because of the pharmacy… they are the nicest, most customer friendly pharmacy in all of Atlanta, but full transparency DO NOT BUY FRESH PRODUCE - meats or veggies - they are all rotten and “appear” good. My daughter was hospitalized and we thought it was a one off incident but it is every single time I step foot in the store. If you do buy produce (do not buy meat) flip it over bc 9/10 it’s rotten
J COQUETTE 7 months agoInventory is usually in stock, but the deli line Never fails to be 10min+ to wait your turn😶
